This Cookie Policy explains how BeamTake, operated by BeamTake ("we", "us"), uses cookies and similar technologies on beamtake.com. It complements our Privacy Policy.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Similar technologies, such as local storage, work in a comparable way. We use them to keep you signed in, remember your settings and, only if you allow it, understand how the site is used.
The categories we use
Necessary
These cookies are required for BeamTake to work and are always on. They cover your signed-in session, your language preference, the token that keeps a guest trial running, the cookie that stores your consent choices, and security measures that protect the service against abuse. They do not track you across other websites. Because the service cannot function without them, they do not require consent.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site, for example which pages are visited and where sign-ups drop off. Its cookies (_ga, and _ga_ followed by our measurement ID) are only set after you consent where consent is required. Analytics helps us improve BeamTake; it is not used to show you ads.
Marketing
We currently do not use marketing cookies. This category exists so that, if we ever measure advertising campaigns (for example with Google Ads or Meta), it could only be switched on with your consent. If that changes, we will update this policy and ask you first.

Google Analytics and Consent Mode
Google Analytics runs in Google Consent Mode. When you reject analytics, no analytics cookies are stored in your browser. In that case Google may still receive cookieless signals (for example, that a page was loaded), which do not contain an analytics identifier stored on your device.
Some important events, such as a completed sign-up or purchase, are sent from our server to Google Analytics. They are linked to your analytics identifier only if you consented to analytics; otherwise they are sent without that identifier.
How consent works
On your first visit we show a banner with three equally prominent options: Accept all, Reject all and Preferences. Under Preferences you can choose each category separately. Where consent is required, only necessary cookies are set until you make a choice.
Your choices are stored for 12 months in a first-party consent cookie; after that we ask again. To be able to demonstrate consent, we keep a consent record containing your choice, the time, the policy version, your country and a pseudonymous identifier. We do not store your IP address in this record.
Changing or withdrawing your consent
You can change or withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Use the button below or the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer of every page.
Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before you withdrew it. When you withdraw analytics consent, we stop setting analytics cookies; you can also delete existing ones in your browser.
Browser controls
Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings. You can use these controls alongside our preferences tool. Please note that if you block necessary cookies, signing in and other core features will no longer work.
Other providers
BeamTake is delivered through Cloudflare (content delivery and security) and hosted by DigitalOcean in Frankfurt, EU. Payments are processed by Creem, our Merchant of Record; cookies used on Creem's checkout are governed by Creem's own policies. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not sell your data.
Legal basis
For visitors in the EU, EEA and UK, we rely on applicable ePrivacy rules and the GDPR: necessary cookies are used because they are strictly needed to provide the service you request, and all other cookies only with your consent. We apply the same consent-first approach to visitors elsewhere where the law requires it.
Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our use of cookies changes; the current version is always available on this page. Questions about cookies can be sent to [email protected]. See also our Terms of Service and Data deletion pages.
