Can I try it without signing up?
Yes. Paste a YouTube link into the box on the home page and we'll make two short clips without an account. When you sign up, those clips move to your account.
What kind of videos work?
YouTube links and mp4/mov files, up to three hours long. Speech-heavy content (podcasts, lectures, interviews, stream VODs) works best.
How long does it take?
Only the audio is downloaded first, so the first step takes seconds; a one-hour recording finishes in about 10 minutes. The job keeps running on our servers even if you close the page.
Usage and billing4
How is usage counted?
By the length of the source video you process, and it resets at the start of each month; unused minutes don't roll over. How many clips you make from the same video, re-rendering and editing don't count against it.
What's in the free plan?
The free plan includes 30 minutes of source video a month, with a BeamTake watermark on exports. No credit card required.
How do payments work?
By card, in the secure checkout of our reseller Creem. Prices are in US dollars; applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. BeamTake never sees or stores your card details.
What do I get by paying yearly?

Clips and editing3
Can I edit a clip afterwards?
Yes. Fix captions line by line, trim the start and end, or cut parts out on the timeline. Change the style, ratio or quality and re-render; that doesn't use your allowance.
Which styles and ratios are there?
9 caption styles, 9 aspect ratios and 16 languages. In horizontal recordings, the speaker is tracked to build a 9:16 frame.
Can I export in 4K?
Yes, if the source is 4K and your plan includes it. A non-4K source isn't artificially upscaled; the export keeps the source resolution.
Publishing2
How do I publish clips?
Download them (mp4 and .srt), or connect your accounts: spread clips across days and times on the calendar and they post themselves on schedule.
Which platforms are supported?
Exports are ready for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Reels, X and LinkedIn. Scheduled auto-publishing works with YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Threads and LinkedIn; which ones depends on your plan.
