BeamTake, operated by BeamTake ("we", "us"), turns long videos into short clips and helps you publish them to your own social accounts. This policy has two parts: the rules for using the service (Part A) and how we handle copyright complaints (Part B). It forms part of our Terms of Service.
Part A — Acceptable Use
Your content, your responsibility
You may only upload, link to or process content that you own, or that you are licensed or otherwise authorized to use. This also applies to videos you bring in from YouTube or other platforms: you are responsible for holding the necessary rights and for complying with the terms of those platforms. Using BeamTake does not give you any rights to someone else's work.
What is not allowed
You may not use BeamTake to create, store or publish, or to attempt to:
- illegal content of any kind;
- child sexual abuse material — we have zero tolerance, remove it immediately, terminate the account and report it to the relevant authorities;
- intimate or sexual imagery of a person shared without their consent;
- hate speech, harassment, threats or bullying;
- content that promotes or supports violent extremism or terrorism;
- impersonation of another person or organization, or deceptive deepfakes designed to mislead;
- spam, including mass or automated posting that violates the rules of the platforms you publish to;
- malware, phishing or other harmful code;
- bypassing quotas, plan limits or technical restrictions, or abusing the free trial, for example by creating multiple accounts;
- scraping the service, or reverse engineering, decompiling or copying its software;
- overloading, disrupting or testing the security of the service without our written permission;
- reselling, sublicensing or sharing access to BeamTake without our permission.
Enforcement
If we believe this policy has been violated, we may remove or disable content, limit features, or suspend or terminate the account, depending on the seriousness of the violation. Accounts terminated for serious violations are not entitled to a refund; see our Refund Policy and Terms of Service for details. We cooperate with lawful requests from authorities and may preserve information where the law requires it.
Part B — Copyright and takedown requests
We respect intellectual property rights and follow a notice-and-takedown process similar to the US DMCA procedure. We do not claim to have a registered DMCA agent; all notices are handled through the contact address below.
How to report infringement
If you believe content processed or published through BeamTake infringes your copyright, email [email protected] and include:
- identification of the copyrighted work you claim is infringed;
- the exact location of the infringing material: a URL, or details of the clip, post or BeamTake account concerned;
- your name and contact details (email address, and postal address or phone number if you wish);
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on their behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature (a typed full name is sufficient).
Incomplete notices may delay our response.
What we do
When we receive a valid notice, we act expeditiously: we remove or disable access to the content concerned and notify the user, normally including a copy or summary of the notice.
Counter-notice
If you believe your content was removed by mistake or that you have the right to use it, you can reply to [email protected] with an explanation and a statement, made in good faith, that the removal was a mistake or a misidentification, together with your contact details and signature. We may forward your response to the complainant. Content may be restored if the claim is withdrawn or turns out to be unsupported, subject to applicable law.
Repeat infringers
We terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe the rights of others.
Misuse of the process
Submitting knowingly false or misleading notices or counter-notices may expose you to legal liability. Please consider whether a use might be permitted, for example under quotation or fair use rules, before you send a notice.
Content on other platforms
Clips that you publish to third-party platforms such as YouTube, TikTok, Instagram or Facebook through your own account are hosted by those platforms. They are also subject to each platform's own copyright and takedown processes, and rights holders can contact those platforms directly.
