Instagram content isn't ready for TikTok as it is: the ratio is different, the way people watch is different, attention spans are different. On Instagram viewers watch fast in the feed, strangers in Explore and decide within the first 3 seconds; on TikTok it's one-handed, vertical, often starting muted and the first 2 seconds. BeamTake bridges the gap: it pulls out the parts of a long recording that stand on their own, frames them for 9:16 and burns in the captions.

Speech is transcribed with word timing, and segments that start and end cleanly and make sense on their own are scored. Pick the ones you want from the list.
The frame follows the speaker's face and leaves room for the part of the screen TikTok's interface covers (~140 px of buttons on the right edge, ~340 px of username and caption at the bottom).
Captions are rendered into the video, no separate file needed. Pick one of nine styles; font size scales to the ratio automatically.
If your account is connected the clip goes straight out; or put it on the calendar for a good time on TikTok.
First, framing. A Instagram recording is 9:16 (Reels) · 4:5 (feed), while TikTok wants 9:16. Cropping the center leaves the speaker out of frame; when the speaker moves, the frame has to move with them.
Second, length. On TikTok: up to 10 minutes; 21–34 seconds is the comfortable range in the feed. Cutting from the start of a long recording doesn't work, because what grabs viewers is where the topic turns, not the opening.
Third, sound. In the TikTok feed video is often one-handed, vertical, often starting muted. Without captions, it might as well not be watched.

On TikTok, follower count doesn't decide distribution: every video is shown to a small group first and grows based on how they react. A new account's clip can travel as far as an old one's, but for the same reason every clip has to prove itself from zero.
On Instagram, Reels reach people who don't know you through Explore, while the feed reaches your followers. The two audiences expect different things: an Explore viewer has no context, a follower does. That's why the same first sentence can work in one place and fall flat in the other.
Yes. Just paste the link; you don't need to download anything. Only the audio is transcribed, and video is fetched just for the ranges you pick.
Framing follows the face and is smoothed, so it doesn't jump. If you're not happy, re-render the clip with a different ratio; nothing is re-transcribed, only the framing changes.
It depends on how dense the conversation is. A forty-minute recording typically gives 6–10 standalone moments; you pick which ones to publish.
