What drives the cost?
- Roll length: pack the same designs tighter and the roll gets shorter
- Fill rate: how much of the roll is covered by designs
- Spacing: a wider gap than needed adds length on every row
- Rotation: laying long designs sideways often saves a row
Example
At a shop charging $15 per meter, a 45 cm gang sheet costs about $6.75. If the same designs take 55 cm with rotation off, the difference is about $1.50 per order.
