Step by step
- Add your designs as transparent PNGs; background remover results come in with one click
- Enter each design's print width in centimeters and how many to print
- Pick your shop's roll width: 22 inch (55.9 cm), 24 inch (61 cm), 58, 60 cm or custom
- Set the spacing (cutting gap) and margin in millimeters
- Check the layout in the preview and download a PNG or PDF
Spacing and margins
5–6 mm between designs is usually enough for hand cutting, 3 mm for automatic cutters. Leave a margin of a few millimeters on both roll edges where the printer can't print; ask your shop, the default is 5 mm.
Should I send PNG or PDF?
Most shops accept a 300 DPI PNG. For long rolls a PDF is much smaller: each design is embedded once and repeats are just position data.
FAQ
Does rotating designs affect the print?
No. Designs are cut from the film and pressed, so their orientation on the roll doesn't matter. Rotation only shortens the roll.
What's the sheet length limit for?
If your shop wants sheets of a fixed length (e.g. 100 cm), the layout continues on a new sheet at that length.
